Examination Information

The Commissioning Certification examination includes four parts. Two parts consist of multiple choice questions, and other two parts involve non-multiple choice exercises. To be successful, a candidate must achieve an overall score of 80 on the combination of the four exam parts. At this time, the exam is only offered during scheduled exam dates at specific locations (no remote or computer testing).

The exam is scheduled on the Saturday following most commissioning course offerings. A Friday afternoon review session is an integral part of the examination process, and should be noted when making travel arrangements. The Saturday exam is scheduled to conclude by 11 AM local time.

Fee: The fee to take the examination is $675 (U.S. dollars). The fee includes processing and review of the application and supporting information and recordkeeping.
